Baby registry for second child - yay or nay?

Has anyone made a registry for a second child? I don't want to seem presumptuous by making one but I'm also thinking we may have a different gender this time around...thoughts?? Thanks in advance!

I think it's a smart idea to make one, I know I will be. Even my if you don't have a shower, there are always people who want to buy stuff for a new baby. Also most places offer you a discount for items on your registry!

I'm definitely going to make one even if it's primarily for us to get things we will need second time around. They offer so many incentives and benefits I figure why not 😊

It's not considered polite to have a shower but why not make a registry since you get good deals?

I think it's a good idea bc people will still ask if you need anything. And you can easily tell them about your registry. most women wouldn't have a shower for the second child, unless they were spread out pretty far. But I had a "sprinkle" for my second child. And I had not planned on having a third. So I sold or gave away pretty much all of my baby stuff and then 3 years after the second SURPRISE baby 3. So I did have a sweet friend who insisted on throwing me a shower for that child. And well.... here I am again.... never planned on having more. But 7 years later and one nasty divorce I have a wonderful new gentleman in my life whom I adore more than anything. And we decided to have a couple more. So I will be having yet again another shower for this one. So I say go for it. It's all what you feel you need and what's right for your situation!!! 💗

I got a coupon from target saying if I made one and printed it off I could go to Custer service and get a $20 gift card. So making one at target. I also love there new cloud nursery items.

I think it would be good to have a second one especially if you have a girl vs a boy and want new things for them. I know some girls who got rid of things they needed from their first and had to get new things for their second or third child. So I say do it! People will want to get the new baby things anyway. :)
