After an escape from her crib we switched to a toddler bed, and the first few nights were great. Then she figured out how to open the door, so we put one of those plastic knob locks on the door. The next night she managed to open the door, despite the knob-thingy. So I put a baby gate across the door as a second barrier. She knocks it down. Are there any other ways to thwart her escape tactics? I never had to deal with this with my older child, as he was happy to remain in his room the entire night.
