Genetic Testing?

I had an appt today and she told me I have to decide if I want to get genetic testing done before my next appt. I'm just wondering what it consists of and if it's expensive?

There are a number of different tests with fancy names like harmony, materni21, verify, etc. They all essentially test for the same things. I'm currently checking with my insurance on how they would cover it.

I will have my done on the 13th bc it's covered by my insurance. From my knowledge, it is an ultrasound and blood work.

Mine was covered by insurance I had it done yesterday. They draw blood and do and ultrasound here in the US. The check for down syndrome and other genetic things.
