Ovulation after Depo provera ?

How long did it take you to ovulate after stopping the Depo provera shots?

Following, My last shot run out in Feb, I got a period 7 weeks later and then I had 3 periods 7 weeks apart then my last period was regular (28 days from my last) and I have used ovulation tests from pound land(uk) and I got a positive result so that would be 5 months since last injection..but everyone's different as you have probably read! I've spent hours reading so many different story's from the depo!

Took me 6 months to get my first period and then for the next year my cycles were very irregular. 45 days, 37 days, 64 days, 49 days... 
I am Day 17 today and just got my first smiley face on a home ovulation test!!! 
So short answer 18months.

I didn't have a period a whole year after depo and then I bled for 6 months straight. It just depends from person to person
