What's the most inappropriate thing someone has said to you while you were pregnant? The maintenance guy for our neighborhood (he's probably in his mid-sixties) approached my friend and I the other day and said, "Now I'll say this with another woman around (motioning to my friend) but there's nothing sexier than a pregnant woman. All I can think of is that Demi Moore photo shoot." Being 21, I didn't understand the reference so I looked it up. In '91, -five years before I was born- Demi Moore did a nude pregnancy photo shoot. Who says that to a pregnant girl a third of their age? He's met my husband too.  🙄 
Sadly I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one getting comments that are completely inappropriate like this. Feel free to share your experiences

I had several people ask if my pregnancy was planned, which I thought was not only rude but odd since I'm married and in my 30s.

But worse might've been a comment about the fact that I'm having twins. A lady at work said "It's great they're identical because then people will know you didn't use fertility drugs. So many people are taking fertility drugs nowadays."

Um. Actually mine are fraternal, though it is true I didn't use fertility treatment. It just runs in my family. But there's absolutely nothing wrong with using fertility treatments and I thought her comment was rather offensive (and made several assumptions). I have several friends who are very grateful for modern advances in fertility treatment that allowed them to have kids. So yeah. I thought that was super innapropriate. The same lady also said "I thought you looked bigger but I wasn't going to say anything" when she heard I was carrying twins. Guess some people just can't help themselves.

Gross!! I was 19 when I was pregnant (21 now) and some lady at the grocery store basically called me a whore because she said I looked like I was around 16. Which I wasn't. So I showed her the ring on my finger and told her not to judge anyone unless they know them. I told her my age, told her I was engaged, we have our own home, both worked and I went to college. She shut up real quick!! Ignore the ignorant people. But sometime you gotta put them in their place.

Gross! I haven't had inappropriate comments like that as I'm old and definitely not a sexy pregnant lady. I've gotten a lot of rude comments about my scheduled c section, especially from my in laws. The first time was because he was breech and I had no choice. Now that I'm choosing a repeat c section, they're all judging me. My MIL said c section kids had autoimmune disorders, allergies,  and asthma. Um okay, your kids have two of those three things and they were vaginal births.

I don't think sexy was the correct wording. I think replacing it with the word beautiful or attractive would have been better. But it's all how you personally feel about it. None of us can know what his vibe was since we weren't there.
