Baby name

My husband and I love the name Wyatt for a boy. We have always said that if we had a boy his name would be Wyatt William. Everybody in our family knows that would be the name. Well yesterday a step sibling announced the gender revival of their baby along with the name, Wyatt.

My husband is upset and mad about it. I say we still name him Wyatt (if we have a boy). I think we should be able to name our child whatever name we want.

Has anyone else had this happen and how did it work out?
