How are you planning on telling family?

To those of you who got your BFP this month... How are you going to tell your family! Thinking of something creative and fun! I'm thinking about using the Easter egg idea!!

I totally bombed mine. I sent my DH a 4week update of the little poppyseed, only to find out I sent it to my MOTHER!! She knew we were trying so when she called she was very suspicious, I tried telling her I was sending that to a friend who is pregnant, but she didn't buy it :) so I confessed. I told my dad, too. Nothing fancy, on the phone. I had a plan to do something with ultrasound picture, but figured whatever happens they would know regardless.

We are going to use the jelly bean in plastic egg idea. I am giving it to my 2 year old son and tellng him to bring the eggs to my in laws. That's because we are doing it in Easter Day. Not sure about my family yet. Brainstorming still for them. They live farther away

I told only my mom. My brother's wife is almost 20 weeks, looks like she is not much happy about my pregnancy because she is expecting my mom should there for her delivery, but I asked my mom to come here for help since I had 2 losses already and cannot manage this time alone😒😒. How bad my mom's situation is:(

And this time if we make it there, our reveal to the rest of everyone is that I am taking a picture of my son writing on his chalkboard. But I will have written on it "Mason's checklist: be born into this world (check), steal hearts (check), learn to walk and talk (check), be oh so loved (check), become a big brother (check)! :) I put this on a note for my hubby the last 2 pregnancies but we lost those. This time he was like, "I just want to know" lol. He was stressed just as much as me (ok maybe not as much, but I think my stress was stressing him lol)

This is how I told my dad and my in laws with my son. I gave my dad a card with this inside, my in laws I gave a baby blanket with this note attached. I do not have a face to see, Or put inside a frame. I do not have soft cheecks to kiss, I don't yet have a name. You can't yet hold my tiny hands, Nor whisper in my ear. It's still too soon to sing a song, Or cuddle me so near. But all will change come ________, That's when the say i'm due. I'm you new grandson or grandaughter, and I can't wait till I meet you!

I think the hubby and I are going to wait a while before telling even family.  We did that around 6 weeks last time and it ended up being a chemicaly pregnancy. My dad had a hard time believing me with out a ultrasound picture lol. Hope I can hold of that long!!! 😁
