Glass dildos - why?

If you're into toys, explain the appeal of these to me.
 
I have been dong shopping online and I noticed glass toys have their own category.
 
What's the deal with them?

Temperature play is a big part of it. And they are far more solid than a silicone toy so you can feel the texture better as it moves in and out.

Glass dildos are very comfortable to use. You don't need a lot of lube, like with silicone dildo. It inserts easily, feels hard and moves nicely. I like it so much, that I've got a complete collection :D

Temperature play. Heat them up, cool them down. Some girls like really firm toys. And the smoothness is a very different sensation. Not to mention some of the glass toys out there are down right beautiful

They can placed in the fridge for cold play, they're easier to use, wash and lube up & they won't mess up ur ph balance if ur sensitive to latex or silicone. Plus your able to feel the grooves, vibes/ridges & they look pretty lol

I was petrified of them refused to them... my fiance decided to go ahead and but one the has a spot for a bullet to make the whole thing vibrate... (it was corded and came out of the box with a short in the wire) so when he first used it on me I was nervous (scared for some reason. the damn thing would break) but so far that has been one of the best toys he has thought of getting. the last time - about a week ago it was super cold and omg it was awesom.

They're more hygienic than silicone because they have less micro-cuts where bacteria can hide and they don't set off metal detectors like steel toys do. And sometimes they look pretty, too!
