So I've had an IUD in the past. I had some really bad pains with it for about 4 months. Ultrasounds, x-rays, CT scan, "adjustments", antibiotics, I've had all the testing done. and it was supposedly still in place. But when I asked for my doc to take it out because I couldn't get work done and almost lost my job, he did it very reluctantly.

He wasn't a great doc in my opinion anyhow. Only reason I stayed his patient was because he was the "top" obgyn doctor in my area. But he recently retired thank god.

Anyhow, now I'm with a new doc and ready to change up my birth control. I want to try an IUD again because I didn't mind it when it wasn't trying to kill my uterus.

Has anyone else tried an IUD after having similar issues?
