INSURANCE COVERS TESTING. SHOULD I?!
My OBGYN is also a fertility specialist. He will test for infertility issues whenever the patients requests, and does not make patients wait a year before testing.
I've spoken to him and my husband can come in for a sperm analysis, and I can come in for an ultrasound to see what's going on in my body. My insurance also covers investigating fertility issues. It doesn't cover AFTER a diagnosis, but it covers all testing up until they figure out what's going on.
We've been TTC for 3 months, which I know isn't a lot, but my husband is convinced he is infertile.
Should we go ahead and get the testing since the only thing we'd have to pay for is our copays? It seems like a no brainer to me, but I want some more opinions.
