should i stop consuming dairy while breast feeding?

i have a friend just tell me that dairy is bad for the baby and you shouldn't consume it while breast feeding. i just wanted to know if this was true or not? i've never heard of it

Watch to see if baby has issues. My niece did and my sister had to cut out all dairy. I mean down to pancake mix she had to make sure it didn't have dehydrated milk in it even.

I never stopped dairy and mine was fine with the breast milk, if baby starts getting gassy/upset/puking/bloody stool then that's a dairy allergy but if baby is fine then I'd continue dairy

Babies can be very sensitive to dairy, and other foods, but it's not necessary bad for them. Just  keep on eye on whether or not baby gets constipated or gassy. I had to remove dairy from my diet with my daughter because it bothered her but my son was fine.
