I started having contractions when I was 23 weeks pregnant. I went to my doctor and they did an ultrasound and gave me a medicine to help stop contractions. The ultrasound looked perfect. Unfortunately the medicine they gave me made me very dizzy and made my son move less so I called my doctor and she told me to stop the medicine and go to the hospital if the contractions got more painful. The pain that I have been having is at an 8 on the pain scale but keep in mind that I have a VERY low pain tolerance. They feel like my normal period cramps but they are not as bad as they usually are( during my periods I had pain that was a 10 and it would be so painful that I would cry) I cannot go to the hospital because my doctor told me unless the pain gets worse don't go. Even if I do go I will get sent home after a few hours or less and it's not worth it because I know that it will make my contractions much more painful. I'm just very worried that I will have to give birth soon. Has anyone had a healthy baby this early? I really need some advice. I'm trying not to worry too much but I can't help but think if I give birth this early then my son will have a lot of health problems.
