Any advice ladies???

As I'm getting closer to having my baby I am getting super nervous. I am a FTM and am not getting much support from dad even though we live together. I'm just getting super nervous about delivery and the fact I have decided against epidural unless necessary for emergency.

try not to worry, everyone's labour is different to how yours will be, yeah it hurts but it's gunna , I did it on gas and air, yes I did ask for something stronger but they delay it as long as possible and then my baby was born x

i was super nervous for giving birth too but didnt want an epidural either. I went through 21 hours of labour on gas and air and didnt even use it towards the end and through the pushing. I was most nervous about tearing, which i did, but honestly i didnt notice and afterwards i wasnt even too sore. Its hard but Your body knows what its doing, you can do it! As for the dad, speak to him and tell him how you feel, tell him you need support through this, if he is anything like my partner he is probably scared too. Hope everything goes well for you ☺

Have you been to any child-birthing classes yet? Those can help ease your mind, especially the natural birth class. The hospital where I'm delivering offers them for a fee, but they were well worth it, IMO. Also, don't get so caught up in having no epidural or pain meds. You don't want to be disappointed if it doesn't work out how you planned. A healthy baby should be your and your doctor's ultimate goal.

I haven't had much of an appetite lately bc I've been so stressed but no matter how much I want to I can't cry or even talk about what's bothering me. I feel like I'm running out of time I guess.
