I want to use the traditional vows, I like the idea that so many lovers had recited the same words.

I was lucky I was able to repeat the words our officiant said, I would never have been able to get through reading my own.

I'm Catholic and plan to get married with the mass. In the church we don't recite our own vows, we use the traditional vows. So I will be using the traditional ones. I also really like the traditional ones and I think they cover all the important stuff. My SO and I will be doing speeches though so we can cover our own 'vows' in those.

I get married November 4th this year and im too nervous and silly to write vows and so is he.  I feel there will be more laughing than words being said.
