Polyp on uterus?

Went for my HSG this morning and was told I had a polyp on my uterus and will have to have it removed. Anyone experienced this?

I have had them removed twice. Both times, my uterus was full of them. It is a easy out patient surgery. worst part is the hungover feeling from the anesthesia.

Yup had 3 removed during hysteroscopy.  It was easy and they gave me good drugs :-)

You're lucky they saw it on an HSG! My RE didn't see my polyp or adhesions until he did a diagnostic-turned-operative hysteroscopy. Easy surgery. You go under, they fix you, you wake up and spend the rest of the day in bed! You got this :)

In the same boat -- discovered I may have polyps or fibroids during HSG. My dr scheduled me for this week but I was reading that you should do the hysteroscopy post period and pre-O. I'm currently in my LP and it will be CD10 day of surgery. Dr said I should be okay but worried if I'm pregnant? When did y'all have your surgery?

Same thing with me and I am having surgery to remove it this coming Monday.

Was it all vaginally done?

Having a hysteroscopy done on Friday to remove a polyp. Dr says should be quick and easy recovery but not allowed to drive for a few days.

I had a very easy outpatient surgery called a hysteroscopy twice to remove polyps. My insurance covered it completely.
