Finally free after Abusive relationship

After 5 years of being stuck in an DV abusive relationship and getting treated like shit, living with a moody toxic person for so long, and getting lied and cheated on.. never putting my self first ever.

It's been 3 days since my gf moved out of my house .. and I have actually looked forward to coming home to my own house with my 3 cats and 1 dog !

They seem so much happier too! Which is so weird but makes me so happy!

I had my cleaner come and clean my house today , and it's still clean!!!!!! No mess , no clothes or shoes anywhere! Nothing!!

She's making it really hard for me still but I know deep down it's the best thing!

I don't miss her I am enjoying being in bed on my own and having my own space ..

I like coming home to my house now after work.. knowing she isn't going to be there!

I have come along way!! I still have a long way to go!
