How do I get breastfeeding pump with insurance?

I have MASS HEALTH, not sure if they cover it but how do I find out? And where would I be able to get it? Or where do I ask?

If your ins covers it.... the hospital will probably give you one before you leave. That's what mine does. They have two nice ones too choose from

Under current healthcare laws, all insurance companies are required to cover the cost of a breast pump. Some have rules, like you cannot claim your pump until 30 days before or after your due date, but you should get all of this information when you contact customer service.

If you go to Aeroflow Breastpumps' website, you can fill in your info and a rep will contact your insurance for you and send you a list of what your insurance will cover, plus what other pumps you can upgrade to for a certain price.

Call the insurance company make sure they cover it. (Not all plans do just a heads up)
If they cover it what will happen is they will ask you how far along you are and tell you when you are eligible to get a pump.
Sometimes they work with certain vendors that are in network and will give you numbers to call. You can choose out of an assortment of pumps they may carry. (Some vendors carry all types and brands)
They will mail it to you and then they will bill your insurance.
