Incompetent cervix. For the women who have a short cervix/incompetent cervix, when did you have your baby?

My cervix is measuring at 2.5 and has been the same since my 22 week appointment. They say it's called having an incompetent cervix since I was born with it an could possibly go into labor early. I'm now 27 weeks so I still have a while to go hopefully.

Answer

Sometimes the cervix can fluctuate. I was measured at 1.5 with slight funneling and cervix very soft at 28 weeks. They were worried and gave me the beta shots for baby's lungs. Two weeks later my cervix measured 3.5 - 4 and continued that way until later in my pregnancy. He arrived at 37.5 weeks. 
I'm also a runner and continued to run 4-5 miles 5x week throughout my entire pregnancy until the day before I gave birth, and my cervix was still fine. 😀
My previous pregnancy also was the same-cervix measured short (about 1.8) up until 30ish weeks, and that baby arrived at 38.4 weeks👍🏼
