Okay ladies!! I've got a question?

I'm only 3 days late on my period. I'm so nervous about taking a test. I've had so many negatives in the past. I hate getting my hopes up. Also keep in mind I want to surprise my partner when the time comes. But I LITERALLY tell him EVERYTHING! I don't want to hurt his feelings by hiding it. 😍 So? Question is, do I go buy a test and surprise him?!
