My boyfriend and I recently took a big step physically in our relationship and we both have talked about in the past about the fact that we want to marry when we graduate college (1.5 years). Ever since we took this step, he said he doesn't want to wait and even asked if 10 months was enough time to plan a wedding.... he said he is going to talk to his parents and see if the finances work out but he didn't mention when he would know for sure. Does the fact he told me this mean he is going to make it happen? My birthday is coming up but I don't know if he's going to propose or not! How do you know? I don't want to seem super eager or keep bothering him but I'd like to know so I can prepare and all that. I'd also be a little upset if he just decided to wait until we graduate like we planned originally and never told me so I am constantly waiting on a proposal. How did you know your man was going to propose and should I expect one soon??? How long on average does it take a guy to prepare for a proposal?
