Hmmmm opinions.

I'm kind of interested in having a at home birth. I have a nurse who lives next to me who was a midwife for one of my SO's friends and I actually know the nurse well. Would I have to hire her as a midwife to legally have her assist me while in birth?

Also I'm scared my family will judge me.. they have all had their babies in the hospital and used the pain meds and epidural and still said it was horrifyingly painful...

I'm only 19 and it'll be my first baby... bad idea..?
