Big Baby 👶🏻 (any1 else 2?)

Question

Just went to my 27 week ultrasound this morning and I told the tech how my belly feels heavy all the time ... almost like he's more than he should be (I guessed 2.5 lbs). She started measuring everything and sure enough our 'little' boy measures 28 weeks instead at a whooping 2.8 lbs 😧 No wonder he feels like he's gonna drop out at anytime. Lol 😆 
Anyone else had the same thing happen to them? Did the baby come out earlier than the due date? How big was she/he when they were born? 
Since my new due date is now October 12th (instead of The 19th) and the full moon falls on the day after my birthday (October 5th), I'm guessing I'll be howling 🐺 🌕 in labor pains early 🤔😁

I was told my boy would bne tiny prem size as suspected inter uterine growth restriction plus i had severe hyperemesis and chrohns disease flared up around the clock solid for 39 weeks. I was told he would weigh no more then 4lb to 4lb 5oz absolute max and he came out a fab 6lb 11.5oz and hes a big boy weighing 19lb 7oz at nearly 6.5months! So these scans are very inaccurate and so is measuring in my opinion

I wouldn't worry too much about it. My daughter always measured a week or so behind. The day before I had her, my midwife thought she was going to weigh 7 1/2 lb, she came out at 6.1 lb. It's kind of a guessing game. Our medical facility won't change your due date unless you're measuring 10 days late/early.

Haha yeah it happened to me at 19 weeks and the babe is still growing in there. I was complaining of feeling like I was going to burst and sure enough it's a big baby to blame. I'm not surprised though, my husband is a big dude.

My girl is weighing in heavy and I found out yesterday I have gestational diabetes, so I guess that's probably why? Have you been tested yet? It's a small chance of having it...some people just have big babies 🤗

I did and my son was 9lb6oz at birth but wouldn't engage labor on his own due to other reasons.
