Do you think he'll ask me to marry him?

I've been with my bf for almost 5 years. We have a 1 yr old baby together. We lived together for a year before he suddenly left us. He said he's had enough and fatherhood is not for him and he doesnt want me. He came back a few weeks ago apologized and asked for a second chance. I told him we can try again but if things are going well, he should finally ask me to marry him bc he knows how important marriage is to me. Its been a few weeks now and everything is going well he is a wonderful dad and bf. Do you guys think he'll keep his promise and marry me or no chance? We used to argue a lot about marriage bc he knew it was important to me but he has commitment issues I think. I wanted to go to couple therapy with him but he refuses.
