Was your partner in the room for a cervix check or was it to awkward to have him in there?

Not at all. He sat behind my head and looked at his phone. He will be there for childbirth. 😂

My wife was at every appointment and every check. She was there when my membranes were stripped. In the hospital she saw me through the initial checks, getting an epidural, so so many more checks (I was at the hospital 24 hours+ before she was born), my water being broken by the midwife and all three hours of me pushing. I pushed in multiple positions none of which were modest in the least. After my c section she had to help me in the bathroom for several days. 
A word to the wise-modesty is going to go out the window at some point. Don't let it stress you out now.

I was honestly more comfortable with him there watching then I was when it was me and the dr and nurse in the room at the dr office.

If you/he think a cervix check is too awkward, the birth is gonna be a problem!! Seriously, you'll have a cover & everything, there's nothing to see anyway.

My husband went to almost all of my appointments. So did my oldest daughter. We were very blessed to experience a very healthy pregnancy as a family.

Not awkward at all! My spouse was there the whole step of the way, and considering it was my first checkup I needed him there for support.

Considering he "checks" my cervix multiple times every week before being pregnant I don't feel weird at all with him being there haha.

Lol my husband was there for the cervix checks and when I had my daughter he watched the whole time (down there) while I was pushing for 4 hours. He wasn't grossed out at all. I mean he's seen you naked?? Not sure what the big deal is.
