Also, did anyone use the which hazel padsicles? Please comment! 😭 I'm a first time mom 4 weeks away from due date and I want to know what stuff I'll need. Thank you ladies!

Men's boxer briefs hold the super pads super well! Also tucks and lidocaine spray are life savers. My nurse kept giving me frozen diapers. You wet any size baby diaper and stick it in the freezer. It was heaven!

The hospital gave me a container of small round witch hazel pads (like tucks pads) that you can fold and tuck next to you which help. And also a numbing spray which was great. My favorite part was jus the squirtable water bottle they gave me. I only ever used pads... large ones. But if you bleed heavily, disposable undies might be a good investment. Unfortunately you won't necessarily know what will work best for you til the time comes.

I made padsicles and never used them. Found myself some Depends for the first few days then switched to Always Infinity Super Absorbent pads after that.

Witch hazels helps soothe pain and I got to take home some of the hospitals dibucaine because I asked for some. It helps somewhat numb the pain. ALSO TAKE HOME THE SQUEEZE BOTTLE THAT THEY GIVE YOU. THANK GOD FOR THAT BOTTLE.!

I made padsicles. Ended up with a csection so my vaginal area wasnt that sore. I still used a few of the padsicles that helped with hemorrhoids. I liked using the padsicles with a disposable diaper so when it started to kinda thaw, it didnt get my clothes or my chair damp. Most of the time i used pads though. I recommend kotex because they are cottony. Other brands of pads are plasticky.

I highly suggest using disposable briefs! I bought the supplies for padsicles, but never got them together and then had to have a c-section and the supplies is still sitting in the cupboard.. BUT the disposable briefs was the best postpartum decision EVER! It not only have me peace of mind that I wasn't leaking everywhere and ruining things, but also went up high enough to cover my belly and give much needed support
