A big move

So my husband is in the army and pretty suddenly he came up on orders to Fairbanks Alaska for this September. I and currently halfway through my nursing degree at my current school. If I move to Alaska I would have to start the program all over again adding another year to my graduation date. I have still decided to go with him to keep our family together. Am I right to give up on my aspirations to follow him or should I have stayed and finished school then we could have came back together after graduation?
