Can women have casual sex with no emotional attachment to the other person and be okay with it after ?

I was having a debate with my friend about how casual sex is okay for women who can separate the "feelings" part of sex. She was arguing that having casual sex is a lie to us girls brought up because of the society we live in now saying it's okay for women to have causal sex. She says that we make our selves believe it's okay but in reality we don't feel this way, we want more of an emotional connection. So i think, it really depends on the person. I think having sex is healthy. But i don't think just anyone should be having sex and using the "casual sex" excuse. I do think sex complicates things, if you LET it complicate things. Its all about your mindset. If your having sex because you think you're missing something then that becomes a problem. If you're having sex cause you just really want some and can truly separate your feelings from sex then that's totally okay. But my friend says that as women we can't just turn off our emotions. And i do agree with her.. maybe i'm wrong? I don't know i wanna hear some opinions. ALL OPINIONS ARE WELCOME
