Steriods?

Ho sorry I think I might be posting in the wrong area, I have been trying for a year for a baby with my partner of 6 years we already have a 3 year old.
I track my ovulation with tests and do the deed every other day but no success. I just found out today that he has been taking steriods! Which I am fuming about! Is this maybe why I haven't fallen pregnant does it kill the sperm?

It does effect the sperm in a huge way but it's still possible to get pregnant while he's using. A close friend of mine got a girl pregnant while he was using them. After he finishes his cycle it will take a few weeks to get everything out of his system. He needs to be taking estrogen blockers during and after he should take HCG or something similar to equal out his levels again. You'll have a better chance once that is all done.

I doubt it. My SO is prescribed steroids for his health and he has a child with another woman.  We're not trying to conceive so I couldnt tell you though for sure.

My husband was on steroids for a year while we were ttc: we stopped trying and he went off because he was a monster. We started trying again and it took 3 months for me to get pregnant. So that could be the issue.

It often makes men sterile. Much like birth control keeps up from ovulating, steroids signal to the body that it has enough testosterone. So, the body quits producing testosterone and therefore stops making sperm. Have him get checked!

I does lower sperm count and mobility. My ex husband was on them without my knowledge and we couldn't get pregnant
