Nipple Stimulation, does it work?? 🤔

I'm 39+3 and am really REALLY ready to have this baby. Has anyone done nipple stimulation and went into labor shortly after? Did you use a breast pump?

I did it for 3 days for 4hrs a day with both pregnancy with and electric pump it did nothing but leave me with sore nipples before the baby arrived I heard it was meant to be good when I spoke to my midwife she said it only helps make things faster if your already in early labour

I was in slow labour and pumped for 2 days before giving birth it definitely helped make contractions more intense I'd pump 10 mins on each breast while on birthing ball then have a few hours gap until contractions calmed back down, not sure if it worked or helped but my little boy was born at 40+5 after a 3 day labour
