Help! Should I go to L&D?

I have been having severe itching of my hands and now my thighs and belly and feet and I didn't know it was a big deal but apparently there's something called Cholestasis that detrimental to baby. I'm 22 weeks is that something I should go to Labor and delivery for ASAP or wait until my appointment Monday? I lost her twin at 10 weeks so I'm just full of anxiety. Anyone been through this? What should I do??

Yes!!! I was further along than you were with my daughter when this started happening, around 34-35 weeks, but it did turn out to be just that. IF it is that--big if until you get tested--then it could present serious complications if left alone. I was really lucky actually that I happened to mention the itching to my doc!

I had this with my son! I noticed severe itchiness on my hands and feet. they continued to monitor my levels until it was safe to be induced. I was induced at 38 weeks once baby was full term. it can be very dangerous for baby depending on your.levels! go get it checked!!!

You don't need to go to L&D; for this.  You need blood work done from your regular OB, the results of which will take about a week.  If it's positive, you'll likely be put on a medication for the itching and will be monitored more closely.
I was diagnosed at ~26 weeks.
There is nothing L&D; will do for you for this.

better safe than sorry. if rather go to ld and them say I'm fine than avoid it ans there be a problem.

I would just call your doctor and let them know your symptoms and see if they want you to come in earlier to get tested
