Could UTI be causing late period?

I went to the doctor last Monday to get antibiotics for UTI and now my period is late. Not too far late but all the searching I've done has come up with inconclusive responses. Cycles are regular.

I had a UTI last month. Finished antibiotics just before AF last month. I had a weird period last month and am currently 4 days late (took a HPT=BFN). Although a UTI shouldn't necessarily cause a late period it is an extra stress on your body so it is possible.

Not on birth control due to severe migraines it causes, we are very careful with other methods of protecting. We did a test last Monday when I went to the doc, which was negative. Needed some opinions on weather this could have been normal or not. Never had an issue before. Thanks everyone!

I had a uti last month and I was 2 weeks past my period and that never happened to me but my Dr put me on meds and a week later I was on it

uti don't effect periods completely different area for infection , have you taken a pregnancy test ? If not pregnant or no chance of pregnancy could be stress or something x
