Genuinely curious as to what you consider "controversal" becuase with the people on this app i could post a picture of an apple and yall could find something to debate about it for hours..so im really just curious...lol

A question that can be debated, with factual evidence from a reliable source. "I just want to state my opinion" - NO "I'm not going to change my mind" - NO "The scientific research does not matter to me" - NO

Everything is controversial when you think about it because there will always be two opposing sides. If it's debatable it could be considered controversial.

Usually a question is involved and it is something that can be cited, explained and debated. If you can't use evidence of some type, it likely isn't debatable. 
    
You can google topics.

Some people are CC purists and think things are only controversial if they view them as such. 
If you want a debate about why dogs are better than cats, have at it. You might not get many responses but who cares.

RANTS arent controversial.
JUST MY OPINION isn't controversial.
We like to debate with research, studies, background knowledge, and most importantly, common sense.
