Ok so I'm 16 and me and my boyfriend have been dating for almost a year. We both want to take it up a level and start having sex. I want to be on the pill before anything starts. However, we have no alone time together. Is it a good idea to start the pill even though nothing is happening or most likely won't be happening soon? Will being on the pill hurt me if I'm not being sexually active?

It could happen really any time so in my opinion it wouldn't hurt to be on it. It's best to be safe!!

the pill is safe to use whether or not u r sexually active. there r women out there (i know a few) who have to take it due to medical concerns

I'd say go ahead and go on it. It'll take a month or more 🤷🏻‍♀️ of taking it to fully be effective and regulate everything. Ya never know! I lost my virginity when I wasn't expecting anything and wasn't on the pill so it's better to be safe than sorry.

Yes! the pill is so amazing for many other things than sex and dont worry you will find time ;) just go for a walk somewhere and find a place, its more adventurous and exciting to him if you're down for it anytime anywhere

If you feel ready to have sex then I would suggest going on the pill. It won't hurt you (talk to your Dr though). You never know when the perfect opportunity might arise.
