Unusual discovery. What do you think it is?

In 2003 there was a discovery of unusual skeletal remains in the Atacama dessert in Chile. The specimen was thought to be thousands of years old, but through DNA testing it was found to be modern. DNA also traced it to the west coast of South America. At Stanford in 2012, a microbiologist named Gary Nolan did further testing and confirmed that it was "definitely human" with 9% DNA unmatched (which could be a computer reading error.

There are no genes linked to dwarfism. Some scientists speculate that its a mummified stillborn. Some continue believing its an undiscovered species. Some think its an alien, though Snopes says the two latter options have been ruled out.
