Why are people so weird

I commented on something on fb and some weirdo decided she needed to keep message me saying Jesus loves me over and over. I told her she should keep her religion to herself bc I was not interested so she messaged back saying Jesus loves me and that she wasn't trying to push her God on me. so I blocked her. I don't get it. what a weirdo.

I have some family members that are extremely Christian and I am an out atheist I am in atheist groups on Facebook too. well, these Christian family members post a shit load of religious things on there constantly. I barely speak to them because we are not super close but they post all this shit and it floods my feed. wouldn't you figure that if it's ok for them to flood my feed with Christian junk, I have the same right to post atheist stuff for fun once in a while? they show their support of Christianity on FB so why can't I show my support of atheism?... well a few months back I began to post 1-2 atheism related things on my timeline every day. most of it was silly like jokes and such, nothing mean rude or offensive. suddenly one of these Christian family members decided to post comments on my posts complaining about it. it was wrong for me to post atheist things on Facebook because it offended them. I made the point of stating their Christian garbage offended me but I just kept scrolling and ignored it. then I made the point that Facebook itself is not specifically a Christian forum. this pissed them off and started a war they wound up losing to me.
