Went for an ultrasound at 5w3d. The ultrasound tech saw the yolk sac and took a photo of it. No baby yet, but she said it was too early. Went to the doctor yesterday for follow up and he claimed the sac was small at 1.4cm, yet by my research this is normal. All he did was talk about miscarriage. My HCG at 5w1d was 12,692. I've talked with another OB friend and she said everything is probably fine and I shouldn't worry. I can't help but freak out a bit and cry a lot. I've had no cramping and the smallest amount of spotting when I went to the bathroom once (like two drops).
