AMITRIPTYLINE. Anyone else on this drug?

Does anyone on here take Amitriptyline and suffer from spasms because of it and horrible symptoms? I get spasms in my whole body that I'm sure is due to the medication. It sometimes feels like I have a baby kicking me in the stomach! I get it in my back, in my abdominal area, my arms and legs and my eyes. I notified my specialist (urologist) and she said that the benefits of it out weigh the side effects and to continue taking it. I think it has also made me have strange periods and a little bit of spotting between periods.

I know there is nothing physically wrong, I have had two ultrasound and a MRI of my pelvic area to check for any other problems causing pain but it seems to be my bladder causing the discomfort.i have gone to the extend of doing pregnancy tests but they have been negative and I have had periods. So I have stopped having sex for the last 5-6 months.

So I know it's the medication that is giving me SO many side effects.

I get tingly breasts after my period is finished untill the week before my period starts and they then actually hurt to touch (normal for me)

I have skin crawling and twitching.

I have had less painfull periods but a bit lighter and longer. And sometimes spotting between periods.

I also feel like I am so anxious about things (I have never usually had this problem) and I believe things even though the facts are right in front of me saying not true. But my brain constantly asks what if... I have never had thoughts like that and in usually pretty straight forward!

I'm wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms?? It's hard to find people that have had the same symptoms, they state that these symptoms can occur but not common.
