Do you think 20 years is enough for a attempted rapist? If you could make a law for any rapist, or molester what would it be?

Yeah 20 years for attempted rap is fine to me. Some people actually rape and get off Scott free....

I don't believe in the death penalty. Not even for murders and rapists. I view it as the easy way out of punishment. They just die, and that's that.
But I don't believe rapists or murderers should get to leave prison. Don't rapists have a high re-offending rate? 
I also think it would help those men who women cry rapist on when they're not, because they'll have a chance to build a case in there... I know there'll still be people who shouldn't be in there, in there though.

20 years doesn't seem long enough at all. Id say life, he could get out in 20 years and go and try to rape someone again. Honestly I wouldn't even want them to waste space in prison and use taxpayer money to live, I'd say give them the death penalty, but sadly that's also not a realistic thing because there is false accusations of rape, and it would be completely wrong for a man to be killed just because someone lied.

I think when there is evidence other than "he said, she said" such as journal entries confessing to it as in this case, or DNA evidence to prove it, especially with repeat offenders or evidence that a proven rapist would be a repeat offender (again such as in this case) - there should be the death penalty. We are not hard enough on sexual predators in the legal system.

it all depends how judge feels... that day as far as sentencing. I will say I hipe they get raped in jail...an eye for an eye. I tink molesters should be castrated before coming back in real world.
