when to start buying baby stuff?

I've had 2 MC's before (both before 7 weeks) and I'm now 11 weeks.. SO thinks we should start buying baby stuff at 20 weeks.. when do most people start buying baby things??

We didnt buy anything until after 20 weeks (once we knew his gender).  Im 24 weeks and we only bought a couple outfits 😔.

I started at about 12 weeks. Am now 18 weeks on Tuesday. Buying stuff is a lot of fun. Enjoy!

27 weeks and I've only bought 2 take home outfits, one for each gender since we don't find out. my mom bought a bassinet though lol. this is my second and already have a swing that hopefully still works. we have alot of clothes that are neutral too until we have the baby. I'm not buying anything else until the baby is here. I'm due late October so we'll just buy anything else as Christmas gifts, like a new saucer or play gym.
