Do you think baby monitors are necessary

Depends on the size of your house, where baby sleeps and where the caregivers are during that time, how heavily caregivers sleep, etc. I don't need a monitor but my husband needs one if I'm out of town. That guy would sleep through a hurricane.

Ours sleep in the same room as us for like... Their entire life 😂😂 literally our 5 and 9 year old still sleep with us most of the time haha so not in our house they're not. We keep the crib in our room for at least 6 months or a year. And I'm so neurotic I will get up and check the baby every 30 seconds until I finally can't keep my eyes open anymore.

I think they're nice and we have one, but I wouldn't say they're necessary.
