HSG this week - scared out of my mind!

Hi all - I am on meds for my first round of IUI this month and am scheduled for an HSG on Thursday. I am absolutely terrified. I've read so many horror stories and had an excruciating saline sono with my OBGYN. My RE prescribed me Percocet and Valium, so I'm hoping that helps, along with her being more experienced than my obgyn. She also said it's less than a minute. I'm tempted to skip it and try the IUI but I don't want to waste our time and money. Anyone have any POSITIVE experiences to share? I've hear enough horror stories, so none of those please. 🙂
