I don't know for this is a dumb question but if I have Brown eyes and my SO has hazel, is it possible that my child could have blue ? Just a random question lol either way I'm obsessed with every eye color ! My brother has blue eyes but no one else does in my family so it was really random .

If you and your brother have the same parents, you most likely carry the blue eye gene somewhere in your DNA; however, since blue eyes are a recessive gene, your SO would also have to carry it for it to present in your children. Although, genetics is a betting game and is all based on probability. Just because you both carry it, does not mean your child is guaranteed to present it.

Yes it is as long as one of you carry the gene it is possible.
I have Hazel and my bf has hazel but both my kids got blue eyes! my bf, I or both carry the gene. M son will be 4 in Oct and my daughter is 14 months today so they won't change!

My eyes are hazel and my husband's are brown. Our first daughter has brown eyes, and our second has blue (no clue where they came from but they are ice blue 😂). I am curious to see what color eyes baby girl number three will have!

Yes, because if it's in your brother's DNA it's in your DNA. It's recessive so it's unlikely, but it could happen, especially if your significant other carries the blue eyed gene somewhere down the line as well.

Depends. Do any of your parents/grandparents have them? Also all babies are born with blue/grey eyes just in case you didn't know. My husband was so excited to see our sons blue eyes at birth lol they change.

Brown is the most common with the others usually being a recessive gene. Since your brother has blue it means the gene is Carried in your family so there's a possibility. All babies are born with blue eyes but that usually changes over time. It can actually take a couple of years before a child has their finally eye color.

my eyes were blue when I was little now they're hazel but my hair stayed blonde (naturally) lol my fiance has brown eyes and brown thick hair(He's german, Mexican and Phillipino) so I'm excited to see how my little girl will look.

yes it's possible but unlikely. my daughter has light blue like her father and blonde hair lol. She is his twin and he is a poster child for recessive genes. I'm all dominant. so it's possible just depend on your DNA

I dontknow. I have hazel eyes ansmy husband has blue eyes. All three of my kids have blue eyes.  
I think someone has to have blue eyes to get a baby with blue eyes but I'm sure I'm just making that up lol
