I was wondering what women have had this screening done? It is the test to screen for Down Syndrome, Trisomy 18, Trisomy 13, Open Neural Tube Defects, and the bonus of finding out the gender Early.

Pros and cons? Is it worth it? Opinions?

Doctor said this test costs around $600-$800 and I was just wanting insight from someone who has gotten it to tell me if spending that type of money would be good or no?

My next appointment is Friday, August 4th..and I will be 15 weeks exactly. This test is able to be preformed after 10 weeks, with having to be 15 weeks for the neural tube defect drawing...so I'm right on track.
