The Cell Free DNA test, Noninvasive Prenatal Testing for Fetal Aneuploidy
I received a bill today from the lab stating that Aetna rejected my claim for this genetic screening. I was told it was a covered benefit at 85% so you can imagine my shock when I saw a denial & charge of $2700+!
Passing this info on to remind you all to check your insurance before you recieve any testing!!! I'll be calling first thing tomorrow to try to clear this up...
