New license??

So I'm going to get my over 21 license tomorrow since mine will expire in March. I also got married and finally changed my last name. Unrelated, do you think I'll have to get a new picture taken? I don't look much different from when I was 17, I just want to be prepared because it's ridiculously hot here and I don't want to be a sweaty mess if I need a new picture taken 😂😩

Yes they'll have you take a new picture

In CA they didn't make me, I kept the same one. In NC they retake your picture for just about anything.

I think it varies by state, but I did get a new pic in mine when I turned 21 (tx)...granted that was 9 years ago. It's always best to do your hair and makeup...i didn't do mine when I was changing my name after getting Married 4 years ago and of course they insisted on taking a new pic that day when I looked terrible- greasy messy bun and no makeup... I went after the gym! I finally get to change it out on Friday since I turn 30 next week, but now I'm 7 months pregnant, so I'm sure I'll be looking chubby in my pic for the next ten years.
