TV Shows

I'm watching gossip girl as an adult since I was never allowed to as a teenager and now, I totally see why! I know it's just played for entertainment and I personally love the drama but dang... I'd never let my kid watch it. So I was wondering are there any tv shows that you'd make off-limits for your kids and why? And I'm not just talking tv-ma shows which are clearly for adults...although is there anyone who'd let their teenagers watch mature-rated shows with your knowledge?

I personally plan on restricting what my kids watch as much as possible but also tell them why they wouldn't be allowed to watch something and train them in a way so that they understand how things they watch can affect them, so that they can make their own decisions later.
