Wedding Redo/Renewal? Would you wear a wedding dress? Reasoning in the description

When my husband and I got married in 2011 it was the perfect day. Once it was over I was looking forward to getting my pictures back and being able to enjoy that day over and over again. Unfortunately that day never came, I never got my pictures from the photographer due to many excuses from her. So now I want to redo my wedding so that I can have my pictures. I want to wear a new wedding dress but when I do research it says not too, What do y'all think?

I've heard of people wearing a new dress and others who didn't. Honestly, I think it's just whatever you want to do. You shouldn't necessarily have to follow any wedding redo "rules." If you want the pictures, wear a dress you love!

yes for me because we didn't have a wedding when we got married. we want to do a family and close friends wedding at our 5year anniversary. but I'm not spending thousands on it. its going to be a satin cheap dress, and hubs can wear a dress shirt jeans and boots. country theme. with Mexican food his family makes. I just want the pictures and our family to celebrate with us. I wouldn't buy a super expensive dress either way so that's up to you. there's nothing wrong with a renewal.

My parents had a very small wedding when they got married. My mom didn't get the dress she wanted. When they got their vows renewed, she wore a huge princess dress. I don't think it matters!
