when can i take a test?

I really hate that I have to wait so long to take a test.

I had multiple sessions of unprotected sex 2 days before my period... I could have gotten pregnant before that but I keep having to edit my period because I'm obviously missing it. I had major pregnancy symptoms so I took a test it was invalid then negative. then I went to the doctor and it was still negative.!! and every two days that go by I'm going insane because still no period and I don't want to waste money on more tests if it's going to be negative.

so I would just like to know how long I have to wait!🤔
