Infected ingrown toenail tips?

I have a badly infected ingrown toenail that I discover on a weekend of course. I've been soaking it in Epsom salts and putting peroxide on it to try and help it but it still hurts to even walk. There is only one doctor in my town who treats them and it usually takes a few weeks to be able to get in to see him to have it removed but I can't wait that long. I'm a bridesmaid at my sisters wedding this upcoming weekend and I have to be able to wear sandals with my dress. Does anyone have any tips to help get rid of the infection? I would really appreciate it!
