Need reassurance

So I went on vacation out of the country 3 weeks ago with my family and my boyfriend. This was my fertile week (according to eve--I'm pretty irregular) so we were very careful to be safe when we had sex, which we only did twice. Both times, we used protection and he pulled out right before he finished. The trip left me with a horrible bacterial infection that lasted about a week and a half. My period is now 9 days late according to eve, but my cycle has always been irregular. Should I be worried? I have a hard time not panicking now that I'm not on birth control (for medical reasons), and I just need reassurance that I'm okay.
